Nice overview of what’s available at each price, I’ve been working on a similar video.

Excellent! So helpful and I have a mavic mini that has impressed so much I’ve just splashed out on a Mavic Air 2 and for those occasions I am afraid to risk the Dji drones I am waiting for my MJX B20. So for all three to make your list absolutely thrilled

I have mavic pro spark mini but i still love flying my original zino. don’t know why.. may be since zino cost just around 250, i don’t feel afraid to do sporty flying or fly too far or fly in high wind. I enjoy zino the most flying carefree and the videos are decent as well. While on other hand I have to think twice before I even take off my expensive dji drones or fly too far or do any sports flying. I know if i lose my dji there’s a lot of money in there that i’ll lose..

Be careful of the Parrot Anafi. It is so delicate, easily damaged, and it has battery problems. I owned my Parrot Anafi for 3 months before the battery failed and it crashed into the ocean. Parrot did send me a replacement but I’ve been following the forums ever since and it appears that the Parrot Anafi is still suffering from this problem. I don’t fly it over water anymore and the other day I took off and it went crazy and crashed from takeoff. One of the props was missing and thinking about the way it acted in the air on takeoff, I would think that prop broke off on takeoff. I’ve never had a problem with my DJI Spark or DJI Mavic 2 Pro.

Actually, the footage on both the X8 2020 and Zino 2 is too dark….I have my doubts about the settings used to capture these videos. The X8 is not the ultimate winner of absolute hovering but It doesn’t move around as you said. I know it does not stand still and it SOMETIMES moves approximately 5-10 centimeters from its location but overall it’s a great alternative to Mavic Mini. The only issue I have faced is the tilted horizon especially when you abruptly yaw the drone and various bugs on the app (not saving previous settings such as video quality, WB and Colors). I recommend the X8 or Zino Pro Plus as alternatives on the 400-500 dollar price range.

I feel the mavic mini is a decent price for what you get. Especially if you can’t afford the pro or regular versions. Still 399 is a lot for me but for what you get mavic mini is my favorite compromise.

I just dream of owning a drone especially the mini, of late I’ve been crazy about drones since 2018. I just wish there was someone who can sell me even a second hand mini drone at $200. Just dreaming, but what I can afford

Anything but the Zino 2. Man, I hate that thing.

  11. MazzifLOL on September 5, 2020 at 11:11 am

Nice list…I honestly think the Eachine EX4/ JJRC X12 / C-Fly Faith is a super strong contender in the ~200 segment.
3 Axis gimbal, microSD slot, GPS, 4K, 1KM (3KM upgraded version), Smart flights… Solid list of features. Thanks for the upload.

It’s unfortunate that the Autel Evo 2 Pro was not included as a comparison to the Mavic 2 Pro.

Good video, really. One thing hardly anyone touches on is the DJI No Fly Zones. I live in one of those zones and I had DJI on my list for a pro drone until a video slipped up on me about the NFZ. Yes, I know how to get around it with an authorization code, but that a bit too much trouble. The NFZ should always be mentioned in my opinion because for me, as of now, DJI is out.

Great comparing of the drones. On the prop in picture on the EVO you can get around that by tilting the camera down a little. That is what I do with mine. Great drone to be written off because of props in the video. Also another good reason to buy a EVO over a DJI. No restrictions. I have a mavic and hardly fly it because of restrictions
