Amazing shots. So inspiring!
Really good video, thanks👍
M2 Pro is consumer level drone not professional level. A more fair comparison will be with Inspire 2 Zenmuse X7 but still that is not 100% fair.
i really liked this. what kind of drones were you using when you started copter kids?
You should Compare It with The Inspire 2 not the mavic 2pro
Wish this guy would stop droning on and on…
Congratulations
Nice video, Magnificent nature.
For everyone saying that this comparison is stupid. I know it is but it is about the fact that they call it professional so he compares it to a real professional product
What does this guy expect ? The Mavic 2 Pro to work as well as his professional cinematic drone ? I stopped watching it when he said the DJI had a shaky look about it! I reckon it’ll be worth $15-$20,000 of course your is going to be loads better !!!
For a much smaller, cheaper drone I felt like the mavic pro actually did very well for wide angle shots
You droned on…
I watched it to the end.
Good content. 👍
I think the biggest thing is you might be missing what kind of "pro" they’re made for. They’re for budget or non-traditional (or just "fun") operations. I use DJI drones for engineering inspections. I don’t need the cinematography capabilities of a high-end drone; I need a "cheap" easily deployed drone to use and abuse for running up and down roofs and walls to inspect things that are difficult or dangerous to reach and inspect. I also offer the ability to do aerial surveys of construction sites, really helps owners and contractors if they can get cheap aerial views, finally I can offer some budget aerial views and videos for clients if they desire (e.g. someone selling their home and I’m doing an inspection, might as well do a video with a nice 360 of the house and property while I’m inspecting their roof).
But, yes, I agree, as a professional I can’t and wouldn’t dream of competing with a proper setup for cinematography. The DJI equipment lets me offer budget drone services; your high-end setups would be wasted and never make money doing what I use a drone for.
To everyone commenting here. He is basically saying that pro drones have isolated functions oppose to hobby drones consolidating all of its functions to one pilot setup. Pro drones have a complete different setup for both camera and drone. This ability along with some of the camera accessories and function, are what basically separates the 2 drones. A 1 person setup is what will always separate the hobbyist from the pros. Pros you need 2 people to operate for the very best shots, whereas hobby drones take 1 person for basic entry level shots.
Makes sense to compare a $1,400 dollar mini drone to a $50,000 octocopter with a professional grade cinema camera.
What about maviric 2 enterprice? Must be better!
I would hardly call the mavic 2 pro “cheap” by most standards
Content matters more.
I agree with you up to a point, but you’re comparing apples and watermelons.
My first and most obvious question is why is your stationary camera that you record the narration on losing focus? Are you using a Nikon camera? Lol great for stills, not so much for video haha.
I’m a professional & he ends up smashing his drone on his car!!!! Well done mate 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I’ve never met a drone snob befor what a dick
The fact is DJI introduced drones with camera
As a comparison, its interesting.
But, like anything in like, lets look at value.
I’d be scared to even guess at the total cost of the PRO drone. I know how much a DJI is.
Lets consider the shots you could get as a consumer 10 years ago?
The shots you get now were pretty much doable on a PRO drone.
You’re so genuine. New sub here. Appreciate this content.
Dont crap the bull…
Every modern dji drone from mavic original have a function where u lock the subject and you fly in any direction. Thats how to fly it when following a car for example.
I get it. You are spoiled by the bigger gear that hollywood uses but these small drones have a function aswell, and crashing one of these is not heartbreaking than flying one of those bigger more expensive o es..
"Has about a $100000 flying through the air."
Oh, is that all? 🙄
holy fuck you almost flew that 100k drone into the truck
This is easily the stupidest drone video I’ve ever seen. Nothing else even comes close.
Since my last note, my nephew in New Brunswick, Canada, has purchased a drone which does great video. He sent me one flying over my growing-up home area which was really good. I sent him this link to show him what you have for your professional work. Thanks.
It’s exciting how consumer "pro" products have changed many lives especially in 3rd world countries. So his comparison is really like comparing Doritos and a Lamborghini
ok but cost comparison dude??
What about 2 enterprice? Must be better!
i’ve crashed my drone 10 time’s😂😂
What is that copter behind you? I am trying to find a helicopter with a gimbal. I also plan to order an Alta.
First, I’m very new to drones, but have recently purchased a mavic 2. Though I noticed 2 issues. Firstly, I’ve had mine up to 90km/h in sports mode, on a fully charged battery but noticed on half charge only goes up to 50-60k… 2ndly, you can’t manually turn your gps off. Flying under a roof as you did, will create unexpected and undesirable movements from the aircraft. Next time, wrap the aircraft in alfoil ( aluminium foil) to stop the gps signal to the drone
I am reminded of a Jared Polin quote.
The quote sounded something like,
"Someone’s gonna say, "Wow you must be rich to have been able to afford all those cameras and gear". I wasn’t. I was a working professional who made money using my gear and always updated my gear as soon as a better model came out."
It’s not too expensive if you can turn a profit using it. And that’s what professional videographers do, run a business and earn a profit.
QUALITY!!👌🏻👍🏻
Not a fair comparison at All!
For the price, portability, and versatility of the mavic, it literally blows the other drone out of the water (or out of the sky). Not to mention that the best drone is the one you use the most.
Who said that pro means cinema? Pro drone operators are in more than just film. I am a pro because I use mine in inspections and real estate.
Very informative. Just a comparison, I’m partial to DJI products, but it’s fun to see how they stack up against the professional cinema drones.
Calls himself a “pro” drone pilot
It’s just marketing. I think I had a Rubik’s cube pro back in the day
7:50 I see what you did there.
I think u need one of of both one for tighter shots and the other for long range/landscape
Mavic 3 has 4/3 sensors, so its a win to DJI
Thanks for the great video . I respect you and your experience and investment in your business . You didn’t have to do this video so thank you .
I have my 107 and looking for work in Lansing, MI area.. if you can make any suggestions please hit me up.. Thanks boss and great posts.. Good info…
