im looking for a smal case/ box, first i thought when i saw your video is that the case is open like a smal box, wow. but…it was not…smh. my question, is there a company who sell this what you have but like a box to open for a sandwich or keys or some small to travel or delivering to neighboors…thanks – another question, is the whole box holding the electronic ?…

How about aerial seeding remote sites for reforestation? More useful than dropping beer or water?

  7. Vance Landry on November 8, 2021 at 9:28 am

Cool vid! Question: are there larger propellers that could be put on the drone to make lifting easier? Just curious if you knew of any aftermarket for that.

What is the range on that small remote? This looks like a good application to use on setting a fishing line way out past a sandbar from the beach.

As far as I was aware – Dropping things from Drones is illegal in the UK… when I say illegal I think it’s against CAA regulations. As a few of the comments note there are already dropping systems being put to good use with lifebelts being deployed on beaches and public lakes. However, the potential for misuse is enormous and something to be aware of…

Since we’re on the subject, who’s got one of these in Mendocino, California that can help me recover my Mavic Mini off a small island? Just crashed today and I’m feeling hopeless cuz it’s extremely inaccessible.

Please, we want an experiment about the distance, the number of kilometers you can fly and control with this weight, which we would like to estimate at 100 or 150 grams.

Can i use this on phantom 3 4k bro?

  42. Just Riding on November 8, 2021 at 10:06 am

What range do you have on the release mechanism?

  43. john jones on November 8, 2021 at 10:07 am

Billy you’re awesome but you’re killing me. Your concern was how loose the bracket is. I actually know something you don’t. That’s a compliment though. What I did was I took a heat gun, not a hair dryer because it’s not hot enough. I took a pair of pliers and gently put them on the four hook ons of the bracket. Being careful I heated the clips until they started to get soft. The pliers keep my hands from getting burned. Gently I rounded the clips to make them tighter. It worked perfectly the bracket is plenty tight enough it does not move around even when a weight is added to the drop mechanism. You should try this then add it to your video because it completely solves the problem and you don’t have to be hassled with zip ties once again you’re awesome

  44. Jj Chen on November 8, 2021 at 10:07 am

You can use it to kill people or vandalize cars

  47. Salvador Tinoco on November 8, 2021 at 10:12 am

Congratulations excellent video! One question, what was the height above sea level in that place where you flew?

  48. GeorgeBonez on November 8, 2021 at 10:12 am

Man this drop system would be great for drone surf-fishing

  49. James White on November 8, 2021 at 10:16 am

How far can it go from remote and still work?

  50. Jim Finch on November 8, 2021 at 10:17 am

The back two motors are spinning madly to do all the lifting. The front two two motors are just keeping the P4 level. You could carry more load if you let all four motors lift evenly but then your ability to use your camera to see the ground would be compromised. As far as the louder noise while lifting……bomber pilots flying decoy missions during WWII used to set with their engines to different rpms to purposely make them sound louder. They wanted the enemy believe this is a real mission and not just a few planes trying to mislead the enemy fighter pilots in the wrong direction.
