Clear, concise information….as always,…first class Eric👍
Great review Eric similar regulations over here thanks as always 👍🏻
Is it easy to not crash! lol I know these drones get better
Good info. A few clarifications….your max altitude even with no grid listing….that I’d general airspace is 400′. In the grid listings of controlled airspace, such as those shown, you will still need LAANC auth, obtained through the airmap or other app. People should understand that just because the apps don’t always show No Fly Zones…especially airmap. In regards to national parks and the such, if you can find a place outside the parks property to take off you can then fly over them as long as you can maintain the line of sight. They control the take off and landings, not the airspace. All aircraft used for the commercial side (stated perfectly that commercial is not just about being paid) it has to be registered, regardless of weight. Good video, easy to understand. The part 107 is not hard with a little effort if people need it .
Looks like the DJI Mini 2 Fly More package is now going for $599 and it comes with the 3 batteries, charger and everything else except for the smart controller which is a great deal since the drone itself is $449. The smart controller is OUCH, more than the fly more package itself. I agree with all that George Burns said as well. I’ll keep flying my Parrot Anafi for now, although the Mini 2 does look pretty great.
Looks like fun, is it better to start with something less expensive and then move up or is this the better entryway? I’m interested but I’d rather spend $300 than $900. And I hate the idea of using my phone as the controller, I would probably have to get a 2nd phone or the controller with built in screen. I’ve seen the fly more package for about $600. Hmmmm
Great information. Been thinking about getting that particular drone. Local shop has the package with many of the extras.
Super! Nice video 💪 liked & subscribed, thanks for sharing
