Hey Dave, You would be an angel if you can you tell me the exact size of that multiuse closeable compartment?
I’m wondering if a Canon 80D with a little lens can fit in it? Seems like it can, like laying on it’s back facing up maybe.

Ok Dave, I’ve ignored your viddy series on quads for fear I’d take leave of my senses and do something stupid, like buy a Mavic. Oddly I picked the case viddy to watch. I pursued your channel looking for flight viddy. Am I remiss or are YOU remiss? Your pal, b

Hey Dave! Thanks for the great video! I’m a late-comer to the Mavic because I wanted to give DJI a little time to work out any kinks… Finally, about three weeks ago I decided to get the Mavic Pro Platinum edition, and boy am I HAPPY! I love this thing! So, of course, I wanted something to protect my investment. I really wish I had seen your video a few weeks ago! Lol! I’ve spent countless hours researching hard cases, and ended up purchasing three different ones because I couldn’t decide which one would be the best. The first one I tried was a cheap little hard-shell backpack, and for $25, it really wasn’t too bad. Then I decided to get the Nanuk 920 Mavic case… At first, I thought it was ok, but it didn’t seem to make good use of the interior space. On top of that, the foam was very rough, and I started to worry it would scuff or scratch the Mavic components. Sure enough, it did scratch the screen on the controller. Luckily, I had a screen protector on it! Needless to say, for the $120 price tag, I wasn’t all that impressed with the Nanuk 920. I decided to give the Explorer Edition Mavic case from MC-Cases.com a try. All I can say is WOW! There is NO comparison! The quality of the foam in the MC Case makes the Nanuk foam look like cheap sandpaper. The cut-outs fit is much more precise as well. Although the cases are pretty close in size, the MC Case makes much better use of the interior space, allowing you to safely pack a LOT more equipment. Needless to say, the MC Case (in my opinion) is the hands-down winner… If you’re going to invest $$$$ in getting the DJI Mavic Pro, don’t skimp on protecting it. Spend a little extra and get the superior protection the MC Case provides.

I got myself the compact version. Its a great case. Nice foam cutout and great quality overall from MC CASE 👍💪 . Strongly recommended.
