Amazing, could you send me a quote on the system. I have an M210 RTK and we need a LiDAR system, hopefully with the Livox Avia sensor and a camera to generate ortho in the same flight. Quote at santiago@flynorth.com.co

Donde puedo conseguir o comprar ese lidar. Gracias saludos desde Perú.

What was the height that you flew it at?

  4. Gavin on January 13, 2021 at 11:09 pm

Why isn’t the main body part ascend above the four propellers while flying? Nice work!

Awesome video! Your production quality is really good man!

Do you have to be on the net to process data? Or can we be off grid to collect and process data?

    This is awesome! Subscribed!

  13. Marc C on January 13, 2021 at 11:15 pm

It’s going to change so many things for sure.

  14. Marc Vasquez on January 13, 2021 at 11:16 pm

I was just doing my engineering semester project on this exact concept with the DJI Inspire 2, wondering how well it scans from 10-100m elevation and how detailed the LiDAR scans are, looking forward to more of this content!

  15. Bill Grafeman on January 13, 2021 at 11:16 pm

Maybe the new bn55 batteries on it will give longer survey time.

Would be interested to see a comparison to the Zenmuse L1.. And price comparison. Nice work.

Hi, Great work guys, I really like what you’re working on, great vid.

  18. Simply Human on January 13, 2021 at 11:21 pm

What is the lidar data used for?

  19. Joe-Lee Carter on January 13, 2021 at 11:21 pm

    Incredible 👌
Truly interested in getting involved in LiDAR scanning for infrastructure and bringing it to me my workplace! I’m a civil engineer and the options in mapping God’s creation are boundless! Great job again👍

  20. Erick Chotara on January 13, 2021 at 11:24 pm

Just awesome, I am sure it will be able to hold up in a more challenging environment. Splendid work Harrison.

  21. D C on January 13, 2021 at 11:25 pm

WOW, absolutely awesome. if can capture imagery at the same time and marry them up, that would be sick.

  22. pewebhost on January 13, 2021 at 11:25 pm

How many acres can you cover in the 15min of flight time?

Can I get more info about the Lidar sensor used?

  23. Cao Ken on January 13, 2021 at 11:25 pm

US added DJI to economic blacklist

  24. SZOT JOKER on January 13, 2021 at 11:27 pm

    👍👍👍

  25. Bryan on January 13, 2021 at 11:28 pm

Very cool stuff. Quick question… Can LIDAR be used to find a metal object in the canopy of trees? Say someone lost a drone in the woods and it went down due to complete battery failure. So there is no tracking it… would you be able to see it with a LIDAR scan?

  26. EQB View LLC on January 13, 2021 at 11:34 pm

    congrats . . . well done video ~

  27. Jabulani Harvey on January 13, 2021 at 11:35 pm

    spectacular idea…efficient mapping

  28. Jo LiMag on January 13, 2021 at 11:37 pm

The fuss about it carrying a certain weight is a bit silly, you could have tested that with a dead weight…. let’s see the lidar working and explain how you assemble the measurements over the flight… what’s the sensor you carry,? Range ? Specs ?

  29. Nimeshography Creations on January 13, 2021 at 11:37 pm

Kudos to your Team Brother. Can we put it on this LIDAR sensor INSPIRE 1 also? I have 2 INSPIRE 1. I am curious about it. How much it weigh?

  30. Sumit Patil on January 13, 2021 at 11:39 pm

Awesome work buddy, thanks for bringing these ideas up and sharing we everyone.. 👍🏼

  31. brett kenny on January 13, 2021 at 11:40 pm

What flight time did you get and unrelated question will your lidar work with m210 rtk?

  32. FlowLeopard on January 13, 2021 at 11:41 pm

"I’m gonna punch out really hard" drone ascends at the speed of yawns

  33. Roller King Once on January 13, 2021 at 11:44 pm

I am still curious as to how and if you got a better position with the external GPS antenna. You didn’t make the Inspire Full RTK did you?

  34. Tom Lem on January 13, 2021 at 11:44 pm

What lidar specifically do You use?

  35. John Monaco on January 13, 2021 at 11:45 pm

Do you realize you say DGI rather than DJI in the opening?

  36. Alex on January 13, 2021 at 11:46 pm

    What IMU do you use?

  37. Michael Walton on January 13, 2021 at 11:47 pm

Awesome video! I think I’ll be requesting a quote soonish for hardware. I’ve got some 3D modeling experience and a 3D printer and would be down for a collaboration! I’d also love to pick your brain about the business aspect of drone based lidar. Thanks!

  38. kaelfors on January 13, 2021 at 11:48 pm

I think another term needs to be found than "Punch Out" I run 2808s on a 24v 5" 😆

  44. Carl nostrand on January 13, 2021 at 11:56 pm

Rock on. Powerful jump tech. Looking for an affordable Lidar system. I will contact your company, just getting started in Alaska with ArcGIS and SiteScan for 3D.

    Hi

I have been flying drones since 2016 and I am interested in mapping and your Lidar. but since i’m new to this market does it take a long training to pay off.
