— Frequently Asked Questions —
What do you do for a living?
I am a commercial drone photographer, filmmaker & creator. This means brands and companies use our services to provide aerial solutions & content. My clients include luxury resorts, tourism departments, NFP, local & national governments and Film & TV production companies.
Why this channel?
Always loved getting in front and behind a camera (film nerd). Youtube gave me the opportunity to keep this obsession going and an outlet to just be myself, share my knowledge and have fun!
Where are you from?
Malaysian born, grew up in Perth, now live in Melbourne Australia but consider myself as a citizen of the earth. We will probably meet at an airport.
What gear do you use?
Not the brand loyal type, just what works well! …but currently, Sony A7Sii/A7iii/ Nikon D610/ DJI Inspire 2/ Phantom/ Mavic 2/ various bits & bobs. See my gear here: http://bit.ly/2masfgI
Are you sponsored?
No, although I have several affiliated brands that I collab with. If you would like to sponsor my work hit us up 😉 info@uavisuals.com

What type of drone jobs do you do and how many hours do you spend outside?
I’m curious about shots. Are you are going for mostly static video and photography? Or do your customers want more cinematic reveals and sweeping landscapes?
Hello from the USA. I been looking into getting my certification for drone flying
2:20 I also laugh like this when talking to my neighbors. 😂
How did you get into this career? I’m super interested in it
Mate looking to get into professional drone flying industry. Any pointers would be great :). Would love to work in an industry that I am passionate about.
What video editing would you recommend for a beginner and/or advanced. (Which one do you use?)
I enjoy your videos, please continue.
If I may suggest you do some video editing videos.
Thank you.
Nice videos bro!
Thanks for an excellent video!
Great start my friend!! 😉 Keep up the good work!!
What was the point of making this video ? Please tell me.
I’m happy to see you use the term operator and not pilot because you are no pilot in any way shape or form
Really cool! I’m interested in this field, actually. I’m at university now and I’m considering switching to UAS.
Please recommend some drones
You don’t have to show drone footage it is private
how many Drones do you takes on a job
See I’m almost done with High School, and I’m looking at jobs at the local College. Drone Operator is one of them, however I’m honestly confused. Because the average salary is 75K according to lots of sources. However it seems like all these videos you just run around with the drone flying over locations? I mean is it a pretty easy job? It looks easy to me, however I’ve never done it so I can’t say. Do you think its easy, or can it be really challenging, and complex?
Do you work for that company or are you a owner operator?
Are you freelance or do you work for a company and how do you find jobs?
Great work
Thank you for the push, Am sitting RePL in 3 weeks. good to see your busy brother
What a waste of time
The RC hobby was just fine and dandy until these idiots started calling themselves. Commercial drone operators then big brother got involved.
