When you said they warned you but you still went ahead with your thing we understand you. You came from a country of stubborn people that don’t obey rules and regulations

  2. ExperienceAfricans on July 22, 2021 at 8:26 pm

  4. giegor28 on July 22, 2021 at 8:31 pm

🇺🇸 is the same with flying drones, you can’t just fly a drone anywhere..

  5. Prosper CO on July 22, 2021 at 8:32 pm

How much can I get a drone like urs in Nigeria sir

  6. Bella Olum on July 22, 2021 at 8:33 pm

The restrictions are necessary for obvious reasons. If you know, you know.

  7. Gordon Omondi on July 22, 2021 at 8:36 pm

Very brave and considerate of you @Afrikan traveller

  8. Yvonne Frankline on July 22, 2021 at 8:37 pm

Sorry for that but hope you understand insecurities that have happened before in the city have led to that.Once again on behalf of Kenyans I say sorry..Security is more important.

  9. Gordon Omondi on July 22, 2021 at 8:38 pm

“Red Zone” is international NFZ (No Fly Zone). DJi drones will not take off in NFZ. You will be warned if you approach a NFZ and if you get to NFZ aircraft will force a Return Home

  10. camarade armelo on July 22, 2021 at 8:38 pm

Yes with the drone it’s difficult but don’t exaggerate that we can’t take videos and pictures with a camera.

  11. Mitchellu Naini on July 22, 2021 at 8:40 pm

With the number of terrorist attacks we have had in nairobi its understandable security is very important

  12. SMART HOME on July 22, 2021 at 8:40 pm

    Welcome home

  13. KENYA TRAVELLER on July 22, 2021 at 8:42 pm

You don’t have right to fly drone to gated community houses and in the city taking pictures and you don’t have permit to do that

  14. GospelGuy on July 22, 2021 at 8:44 pm

its good to see at least one thing the kenyan authorities takes seriously. and for good reason.

  15. WINNIE NYACHIEO on July 22, 2021 at 8:45 pm

The restrictions are because of the terrorism threat in Kenya

  16. Josy kerubi on July 22, 2021 at 8:49 pm

  20. Aframaco on July 22, 2021 at 8:51 pm

But Trudi was in Lagos and the police seized her drone ( they gave it back eventually) but she acted shell shocked as if it was the strangest thing to ever happen to her !

The reason people give for not flying zones are atrocious and petty!

People all over Africa and the world, need to lighten up!

  21. Maasai Mkisii on July 22, 2021 at 8:51 pm

*Salute to all kenya 🇰🇪🇰🇪 floggers* 💪💪💪

  22. Rashid Freestyler on July 22, 2021 at 8:52 pm

Samething in Uganda, they don’t give license at all. My drone was confiscated in Uganda. Actually this a,problem with all African Countries. Sorry for this man. Truely Feel your pain bros.

  23. DIT Kibondi on July 22, 2021 at 8:55 pm

Nigeria too is a nightmare now they took my inspire II in Benin Nigeria. best drone now is Evo II it can fly in NFZ.
What I have learnt in all this areas especially now that am doing 36countries in Africa is to. 1. Get filming permit 2. Drone permit and a journalist pass.

  24. Pesi Belau on July 22, 2021 at 8:55 pm

  27. michuki john on July 22, 2021 at 8:58 pm

Understand the security is so tight coz of terrorism.i respect content creators but but respect the security for doing their work.

  28. Afrikan Traveller on July 22, 2021 at 9:00 pm

Respect Kenyan Vloggers, is not easy to create content on the streets.

  29. Charles Njoroge on July 22, 2021 at 9:00 pm

I get the restrictions and they exist everywhere. But some of it is paranoia and lack of knowledge. People are just trying to create content not cause harm to anyone.. 👍 Like if you agree

  30. Smart Hustlers Club on July 22, 2021 at 9:02 pm

I wonder if Africa will ever grow fast

  31. Gordon Omondi on July 22, 2021 at 9:03 pm

  32. Polycarp Hinga on July 22, 2021 at 9:03 pm

Been flying drones in Kenya since 2016. There are regulations and certifications in place. Much respect African Traveller.

  33. Daggie Nyash on July 22, 2021 at 9:05 pm

I am sorry for what you went through. But I am so glad my country is doing great on security and should do even more. It is crucial considering Nairobi is a tourist hub and has once been considered a terror hotbed

  34. Kevin Kabuga on July 22, 2021 at 9:06 pm

Some normal stuff we do in Europe is a no no in Kenya…….Kenya is very security oriented , you need to be very careful when you move around

  41. Helen Munyiri on July 22, 2021 at 9:13 pm

    This rule is necessary.
It’s for our own security individually and as a nation.
    It’s good there are regulations.
Seriously I wouldn’t want to see a drone over my personal space let alone in the public space.

What if you fly RC airplanes? Are they included in the UAV restrictions or are these regulations imposed on camera equipped drones/uav’s.😂 but Kenya just doesn’t want you doing anything to do with flight,at a ukifly toy helicopter utaitishwa licence 😂😂😂

Is Kenya a concentration camp? Is there no freedom of expression. Kenya is always promoted as a beautiful country and how they are proud of it… it doesn’t sound like it… sorry guys
