Xbox One Controller + Android Phone + TelloFPV App. No need for Raspberry Pi. You can even connect the controller to your phone with an OTG cable, eliminating Bluetooth altogether.

Your awesome, I dont have the slightest idea how this works but I always envisioned me being able to travel with my phone, xbox controller, and a drone and be able to use all three together instead of having to buy a separate controller with a built in screen. If you can market something that enables you to do that, that plugs into the controller at the bottom where the keyboard goes your set, ( you may need to engineer a whole new battery pack and an antenna attachment for stronger signal. Also I play games on my phone with my xbox controller so I normally have both with me.

dood why no tutorial follow up video

  23. Kevin N on October 6, 2021 at 8:44 am

Seriously? This is borderline clickbait. Don’t encourage him with this whole "Let me know if you want a tutorial" crap. If you want to make a tutorial, make a tutorial.

Also, the Tello app was updated to work with any bluetooth controller, you don’t need any weird raspberry pi hacks.
