Can a Drone Chase a FLYING ARROW?!

Can a Drone Chase a FLYING ARROW?!

Drones are fast, and with the latest technology, they’ve gotten pretty precise, too… But tracking a flying arrow at 60mph still seems like an impossible feat. We brought Vanover, one of the top drone pilots in the world, to see if this shot can be achieved!

We gonna need a bigger bow

  3. KurtDog on January 1, 2022 at 12:29 pm

Would also suggest doing the experiment in reverse. Have the drone pass then shoot the arrow underneath it… i. e. chase the drone with the arrow. Just make sure the drone is flying slower than the arrow so it can pass it up. Entertaining video.

Muita enrolação e pouca ação real

  17. KurtDog on January 1, 2022 at 12:48 pm

Cool concept. Would help to have the arrow and fletching a high visibility color. You can paint arrow white and then cover with fluorescent chartreuse paint. The white under the chartreuse makes it much more brilliant. Also can put large fluorescent chartreuse feathers on the arrow along with a bright lighted nock. We use these in the bowhunting world to be able to follow the arrow in flight as it flies to the target.

  24. Skippy 4077 on January 1, 2022 at 12:59 pm

Stick the arrow under the drone (so you can see it in the shot ) so it looks like its just the arrow !

Come on now, be honest. You downloaded DJI "Follow Me" using beteflight. Lol. Great flying.

  32. Jared Lutz on January 1, 2022 at 1:11 pm

This is cool, but I’m going to be that guy. That bow is a childs toy, not a “real” bow. A slow bow by today’s standard is 250-270fps which equates to about 170-180ish mph. And fast bows are well over 200mph

  33. BitMinistry.com on January 1, 2022 at 1:11 pm

    nice!! 😀

  35. John Laughlin on January 1, 2022 at 1:14 pm

60mph at 40% throttle puts you well over 100mph so nothing was wrong with your radar gun…BUSTED! #SELFSNITCHIN

  36. Dallon Perry on January 1, 2022 at 1:15 pm

My bow is flinging them closer to 200mph if ya wanna try 🤷🏽‍♂️

  37. kaikart on January 1, 2022 at 1:17 pm

This has "me and the bois" vibe so hard

  38. astifeux on January 1, 2022 at 1:18 pm

lol i got this video in my recommended when i returned from my archery club

  39. EbonySeraphim on January 1, 2022 at 1:18 pm

Why is it a problem going over 100 mph? 🤔

  40. the1bulldurham on January 1, 2022 at 1:19 pm

Turn the camera around and have the arrow follow behind drone.

  41. Noah Brown on January 1, 2022 at 1:20 pm

    That was amazing!

  42. Jared Ribic on January 1, 2022 at 1:21 pm

1:28 – How does the ND filter give you a blurry background if the Osmo Action is a fixed aperture lens?

  43. Mark Wells on January 1, 2022 at 1:21 pm

    Sick af

  44. LiterallyCanadian on January 1, 2022 at 1:22 pm

"could you tell him that you have only lost one friend." You sure he didn’t lose that friend due to him losing his marbles and just leaving because of a prank like that.

  48. braxton fogle on January 1, 2022 at 1:24 pm

Dude I can’t wait till we can perfect this and be able watch the bullet maybe kill a deer like if you own a drown and go hunt use the drone to follow the deer after the shot so you don’t have to find it again

  49. viacheslav dyachkov on January 1, 2022 at 1:25 pm

    got some apex legends vibes
