Budget Drone Accessories | 4 Things Under $22
Budget Drone Accessories | 4 Things Under $22
Here is a review of 4 budget drone accessories. 3 of them are really great, but I would avoid one of them. They all cost under $22, and if you are anything like me, you might enjoy adding them to your accessory collection!

My Mavic 2 Pro LiPo Battery Bag is on the way using your link. Thank you for providing great videos that are full of info, and useful tips!
So here is the deal with those props. They sent me 3 of the same props, one marked incorrectly, but I was still able to install it, which still concerns me. I still wouldn’t recommend them..
Thanks Russ happy Thanksgiving to you and your family
I feel your pain. Weather has been miserable here for weeks.
On the landing pad, can it be folded with the lights attached or do you have to install the lights each time?
Lume Cubes are great, I think you’ll really enjoy them
Thanks for the video. Looked like 1 or more prop was wrong?
You are always nice to view, Russ. West Michigan weather is difficult as well. For me it’s not the cold and moisture that bothers me the most. It’s the very short days. It seems like darkness is always closing in. Sunrise comes late. Sunset comes early.
Love the LumeCube light I think you will enjoy then.
Nice one mate sounds like. uk good vid nice review don 👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Russ, I use the Lipo bags for my mavic pro, but the one thing I would say is get the single battery bags instead – I have a double bag, but don’t use it to store batteries. The dividing walls between compartments are too thin and wouldn’t stop a Lipo fire spreading to a neighbouring battery.
The best add-on I have is a pair of foldable skis. They don’t give to as much lift as a pair of leg extenders, but they do a much better job!
I agree with Ray H. I use the individual lipo bags for battery storage. There is so much stored energy in a lipo that the more space / barriers the better. Also,
I will never use after market (cheap) props on my Platinum. If the drone was 100.00 okay maybe then I would try less expensive props. I wish you wouldn’t have shown those props because they did look nice. Way too much risk (some of which you covered) in my opinion. A plane can glide, a drone drops like a brick.
Can’t wait to see the cube lights on the Pro 2!!
Thanks for great reviews Russ, I’ve been away for a few days in Shakespeare’s County, but still got the notification that your vid was ready to view. The pgytech stuff is always good quality and fits perfectly. Happy Holidays.
Any accessories/tweeks that makes your Mavic pro/pro 25 more visible in the horizon?
Same here about 3 weeks of bad weather can’t fly rain or wind N.E. Pa.
The landing pad link is not working for me – takes me to a car charger.
Check out master air screw props. Work very nicely.
Try your props again, and put them on the right way. You obviously had two of them mixed up you will notice the drone only
lifted up one side. lolol You can do the same mistake with the mavic props lol.. Happy Flying
Nice video Happy thanksgiving to you Russ Thanks
Wishing you some flying time 🙂 Meanwhile, I’m I a winner? ;)))
hey Bro , im North of you and the weather sucks more here in McLean Saskatchewan , you know , the Prov to the North
Thanks Russ, I”m hoping to get some flight time in today while visiting Nashville, IN. Hope you and the family have a safe and happy Thanksgiving
That’s cool cuz I was thinking about getting that Landing Pad tooHappy Thanksgiving your friend Keith from Asheville North Carolina
I like you having bad weather… You do some of your best in that situation.
You are awesome! Thank you for sharing!
I use an inexpensive door mat for my landing pad. The local dollar store had a red and white striped one for $4.00.
Great Video Russ, Especially the warning about the props. I will be getting Lipo bags as we will be traveling to Europe next summer and as you said better safe than have TSA hassle me about my batteries.
PS……I was in NC for 3 weeks and the weather was cold, windy and rainy. Very little drone flying! The first week the trees were in full color so I got some beautiful pictures / video.
Russ I found what works for me to secure my landing pads is the 6" cable key rings 3 of them and 3 2.5 oz sinkers and these you can leave attached to the land pad when it folded up. I have the one you showed on your video here and one with out the lights.
Been watching your videos for over a year and look forward to each new one, would be happy to click one of your links.
Thank you for the product reviews
Just added Lipo bag to shopping cart. Thanks for all the great informative videos!
Many thanks for sharing the drone accessories – it’s pants in Spain at the moment! 🙂
the North Dakota Drone life is seriously a struggle. 10 day forecast has zero suns in it 🙁
No insult intended , but it seems that it is possible that two of the props were the wrong rotation direction …perhaps they were mislabeled in manufacture. Looks great though and at the price you know that some Chinese workers are truly underpaid. The only aftermarket props I use on my drones are from Master Airscrew and I highly recommend them.
Also go to an autoparts place and look at the towing section. Get a white/red reflector, that would go on the trailer, and just have a reflective surface. Get them positioned, the drone also has a pattern to recognize. I also understand, that the mavic 2 series has gotten the update to have precision landing.
Good thing the fake props fail on the ground rather than in the air.
Hello…
Check your red props configuration on drone. It looks to me that you have the 2 props on the wrong motors.
Thanks for reviewing the props. I am not interested on saving money on my props but am always interested in finding better performing ones. I am sure they exist so please keep looking.
Chicagoland area ain’t been any better weather wise. Happy Thanksgiving.
Lol not like that for las vegas tmpture 😁😄
