Purchase the Orqa FPV.One goggles at:
* GetFPV (USA) –

My review of the Orqa FPV.One is still accurate regarding the image quality and reception, but the user interface and features have been significantly updated since this video:

Purchase the Orqa FPV.Connect module to allow WiFi functions:

Purchase the Fat Shark HDO2 at:

My review of the Fat Shark HDO2:

Purchase the Skyzone Sky04X at:
* NewBeeDrone –
* RaceDayQuads –
* Banggood –

The initial release of the Sky04X had some rare issues with goggles locking up. Skyzone released an updated firmware to fix this. In addition, Skyzone is working to improve the performance of the RF module in some edge cases. You should flash the goggle and module to the latest firmware upon receipt.

The Sky04X ships with a “sleep” function that turns the screens off after several minutes of inactivity. In some cases, this can cause the screens to turn off while flying. This can be disabled in the goggle setup menu, and I recommend doing so.

Purchase the Eachine EV300O at:
* Banggood –

My review of the EV300O (and by extension the Sky04X, since it’s the same goggle but with upgraded screens):

Purchase the Fat Shark Attitude V6 at:

  1. Michael on July 7, 2021 at 11:34 pm

I have a tight budget, ~350, but I also have rapidfire already, so the Attitude v5s seem like an obvious choice for me. Would you think that the RF performance gain of RF would be worth more to a whoop class racer than the OLED?

  2. Timofey Aronovich on July 7, 2021 at 11:38 pm

Hey I’m a new guy and was just interested how come you never mentioned DJI V2 ? Are they that bad that not worth mentioning ?

  3. Bits of Interest on July 7, 2021 at 11:40 pm

I’m about to buy my stimulus drone, so I’ll make sure to return the favor to the person that taught me the most while deciding what to buy 😉👍

  4. Jesse Robinson on July 7, 2021 at 11:40 pm

What a great intro man. I’m looking into getting into FPV and this video helped me.

  5. R. Gomes on July 7, 2021 at 11:40 pm

O Me! O Life! I am choosing between EV200D and Cobra X. Any suggestion?

  6. DELTA ALPHA BRAVO on July 7, 2021 at 11:40 pm

Can you update the spreadsheet to add now the Skyzone SKY020?

  7. Andypeople on July 7, 2021 at 11:40 pm

Thank you Joshua from Italy, you are my fvp mentor 🤗

  8. Jeff Paige on July 7, 2021 at 11:40 pm

First love the channel subbed !! I have an attitude v2 that I’ve had for probably 5 years. The module broke at the antenna attachment. I’m looking at the attitude v6 now. Would I be impressed with the screens on it coming from the v2s ? Or do you think I should just get the older attitude v5s ? (Oled screens) I like Fatshark and would like to stay with them. Or should I just go ⚽️ 🏀 out and get the hdos?

  9. MrGangsterlicious on July 7, 2021 at 11:41 pm

    1:15 the spreadsheet

  10. Bcr1988 R. on July 7, 2021 at 11:45 pm

What about the DJI racing edition goggles?

  11. Derek H on July 7, 2021 at 11:46 pm

I hope you see this question and have an answer. I had a pair of Skyzone goggle 5 years ago. I bought them because they had an HDMI port. They sell lenses for people that wear glasses, like me. But only for near sighted people. With the use of a Drimal tool, I made my own +3.5 lenses. Did Skyzone ever get wise enough to make – and + lenses for their new goggles?

  12. Peter Roth on July 7, 2021 at 11:46 pm

    Ev300o is 490$ -______-

  13. Tinlor27 on July 7, 2021 at 11:50 pm

Can i pair DJI goggles with any transmitter?

  14. Ac H on July 7, 2021 at 11:50 pm

thanks as always for this overview and summary … but i am missing your spreadsheet.

  15. WINGSHIGH Aviation on July 7, 2021 at 11:51 pm

Certainly isn’t the Fatshark Attitude V6’s. Those have the worst FOV I’ve ever seen. Supposedly 39⁰fov but oddly my old ass Aomway Commanders V1 with 32⁰ fov has way larger screens and way more immersive. I sold my Attitude V6 soon as I got it I hated it. Like looking at a postage stamp

  16. AztecJoe FPV on July 7, 2021 at 11:52 pm

    Thank you

  17. Drone Dome FPV on July 7, 2021 at 11:53 pm

I’m so glad you mentioned there is no receiver in those Fatshark goggles. I would have to wait a month to justify spending another $100+.
$400 out the door is good for a few years.

  18. Drew Thompson on July 7, 2021 at 11:54 pm

Are there any other companies doing digital besides DJI?

  19. frank luikart on July 7, 2021 at 11:57 pm

Digital is the way to go unless ur a freestyle guy like mr steele where the latency matters..

  20. Man 0F GOD on July 8, 2021 at 12:00 am

I just fucking love you Man

  21. lauder on July 8, 2021 at 12:00 am

Ahh man thanks for the video but I’ve been struggling to decide for a pair of goggles for 2 weeks now… Digital or analog? Expensive or "cheap". Maybe anyone in here can give me a push in the right direction? For reference: I have 2 drones on analog systems and a crappy Eachine EV100, which is why I want to upgrade.

  22. Chris Hubbard on July 8, 2021 at 12:01 am

I heard you mention DJI goggles have an analog adapter. Which do you recommend?

  23. spacemandaxx on July 8, 2021 at 12:02 am

I wear glasses. When I saw the SkyZone Sky04X has a focus range of -6 to +6, it was a no brainer. Thanks, I learned something today!

  24. Michael Atkinson on July 8, 2021 at 12:02 am

First of all, thank you for doing all of this work and breaking down all of the chapters like you did, just perfect! Are the SkyZone Cobra S or Fatshark Scout still workable for people with glasses?

  25. Drone Dome FPV on July 8, 2021 at 12:03 am

I put everything I wanted to buy in the car sorry I’m driving I don’t want to go through all of that for nothing I want to be sure that you hit your however it goes

  26. jorge on July 8, 2021 at 12:05 am

thank you for your video i really learned alot thanks

  27. ThaOneBigAndSmallOne on July 8, 2021 at 12:05 am

Great content! i am buying your patron!

  28. Kristian Nordheim on July 8, 2021 at 12:05 am

    Thank you for this =)

  29. Wicho Arriola on July 8, 2021 at 12:06 am

Joshua, do you consider to change from fatshark HDO2 to Skyzone? Like you did with Frsky to RadioMaster? Seems like Skyzone are a pretty good goggles!!!

  30. Drone Dome FPV on July 8, 2021 at 12:06 am

I’m using your link to buy Fatshark w/ oled. I have 2 box giggles.. No that’s not a typo.😉 I’m buying a 3rd. Set. Hopefully I’m old and gray.. I mean white (already plenty of gray hair) before I buy another.

  31. ChannelGarrett on July 8, 2021 at 12:08 am

Nothing is future proof, but OLED tv’s are considered the best. Not the QLED knock off from Samsung, which I own trying to save $. Gotta think OLED googles will put you in the driver’s seat for years to come. And if I understand correctly, OLED draws less power. Check out stock symbol EMAN for what USA fighter pilots use.

  32. Matthew DeGregorio on July 8, 2021 at 12:08 am

They all seem really expensive and out priced for most recreational operators

  33. Sergi Orrit Raido on July 8, 2021 at 12:10 am

Hi Joshua tryed to understand wich I should buy, but I’m still undecised:
    Fatshark scout – 227€
    EV300D (No oled) – 261€
    Cobra X – 201€

But the EV300D are not in the list, only EV200D, is for any reason?
Anyway, I thinks this are my options. I’m focusing to enjoy on quality image and low interferences. Can you help me to see the light? Thanks.

  34. ThumbJuggler on July 8, 2021 at 12:10 am

OK, here’s a question, will the EYEZONE BY FATSHARK BASE HD FPV HEADSET work with shark byte? thought that might be a cheaper option, only $100us or there abouts ($200 aussie dollarydoos)

  35. Snope on July 8, 2021 at 12:10 am

What about older models of fat shark, etc? I’d be curious how they stack up against new budget options. Also the ev200d price skyrocketed.

  36. Rob G on July 8, 2021 at 12:10 am

I know this is not a "budget goggles" review, but any suggestions for non-box goggles for a nearsighted user who is ok with taking off glasses? Budget is $200. No problem going used or "last years model". I’ve done multiple dozens of searches and just keep going in circles. I’m not a racer, I just slap a Whoop camera on cheap drones to have some fun around the yard
I can’t buy to try; I really need to zero-in on something with good odds of success. I tried the Eachine 100’s, but couldn’t quite focus and FOV was a little too narrow. It seems it’s either those at $100, or the next option is $400 and up.

  37. Linkin Emerson on July 8, 2021 at 12:11 am

I know you briefly went over goggles for the many of us with glasses, but how much were those head strap ones? & di you just spring for custom lenses that like fit into any fpv goggle? How do you know what size or whatever, Ive only ever just gotten basic glasses, no special sports or crazy lenses etc. Last random question, but have you heard of people getting sick wearing these. I got woozy trying to play VR once & haven’t tried it since, but this hobby looks cool, just not sure if I would get dizzy or sick doing this…maybe its the glasses werent really focused right?

  38. Adrians Zīle on July 8, 2021 at 12:12 am

thank you! you helped me a lot!!!

  39. BadWubs on July 8, 2021 at 12:14 am

got the eachine ev300d for just under 300 and when banggood shipping got messed up they sent a second pair, now i have 2 sets for under $300 and these things are pretty good, the diversity receiver is really nice for a stock receiver

  40. Lordøfweed on July 8, 2021 at 12:16 am

Hmm i had a long break from fpv flying and want to buy a iFlight Nazgul 5 V2 (HD). So i habe to buy new googles i guess to get the HD Image, right? Do i have to buy the DJI googgles for like 669 Bucks or can i buy those goggles in the video???

  41. heeellllooo on July 8, 2021 at 12:17 am

hey! My first fpv drone I want to buy is the tinyhawk 2. Now my question is: are all goggles compatible with every drone ? I hope someone can answer my question. Thanks!!

  42. Jim DeAngelo on July 8, 2021 at 12:18 am

Would you consider providing a link to the spreadsheet?

  43. Lozza on July 8, 2021 at 12:18 am

I’m flying a Eachine Novice II with DJI, a BDI digital adapter plate and a TBS Fusion..

  44. FPVBros on July 8, 2021 at 12:20 am

so the best budget at 5/5/2021 is just fat shark attitude V6 because Eachine EV300o is $50 cheaper than next tier up fatshark or skyzone

  45. Don R McCall on July 8, 2021 at 12:23 am

I own a Phantom 3 Pro & if it matters an iPhone X. I’ve made a black hood so I can see my tablet that I currently use to fly. I’m tired of fighting it. Thought goggles would be a good way to go. After many sights & videos I’m still confused. I don’t want to spend more than my drone is worth for goggles. Right now I fly for fun. & I don’t race, or see it in the future. Maybe some video. I like the idea if using my iPhone to be able to switch from drone camera to iPhone. Another thing is I’m not thrilled with the data you see when using the Litchi app, Could someone help me out? Direct me to a site or video I might not of found. I was force out of work before I got my retirement where I wanted it. & relight on the VA for medicle. So those ot you that know, know I don’t have a lot of $. Thanks for any help.

  46. some random guy on July 8, 2021 at 12:25 am

I have a mavic mini and want to try FPV. I don’t have a computer and wanted something under $300 (like a kit or something simple). Looking at the BetaFPV kit for a little over $200. Am I completely throwing away $$ on that or am I barking up a tree that doesn’t exist hoping to get into FPV at that price point?

  47. John Doe on July 8, 2021 at 12:26 am

All of Orqa’s tech and future-proofing are meaningless if the company is not around, or just can’t deliver. They absolutely struggled to put out the FPV.One – and so far, no sign of any of their "accessories" (other than the FPV.Connect) in sight.

  48. Lively FPV on July 8, 2021 at 12:27 am

Still rocking my ev200d love them. Would the sharkbyte system work with them ?. Great video as always.

  49. Romain Grugier on July 8, 2021 at 12:29 am

Merci

  50. StealthyDead on July 8, 2021 at 12:34 am

You’re so damn candid and straightforward. I respect the shit out of that.
