Question … Will or how does the home feature work if you are taking off from something like a boat that moves?

  4. Richard Bascom on September 20, 2020 at 11:16 am

Great video with awesome tips. I might also suggest that people who are serious about getting a quality drone for a reasonable price, consider the Mavic Air 2 – exceptional drone and extremely easy to fly. One quick question – the link for David’s CLASS on PhotoLemur 2 goes to a "Private Video Page" – is this only available if you pay ? How much ?

Lots of good info here and some points I never thought of. Had a friends drone fly away on the first flight so RTFM is a big one. Thanks for sharing your experience.

why can’t you add battery life in your recommendation

  17. DiveJumpShooter on September 20, 2020 at 11:33 am

Also, out of boredom due to the Covid19 lock down here in California- I got a DJI Air and will pick it up today. However, I live in Santa Cruz Mountains and while the property is beautiful I have redwood trees all over my land so definitely the first eleventy billion training flights I’ll have to make sure I keep line of sight and not let it get away from me as it goes down in the the valleys etc. You mentioned setting the altitude for return home some of these trees are gigantic and where the house is I have a clearing so it’ll be interesting to work this out. Do you recommend or affiliate with any drone sims? I have a couple of macbook pros and no IBM compatible so not sure if it’ll work.

  20. SaSpursfan on September 20, 2020 at 11:34 am

  21. Ray Hart on September 20, 2020 at 11:36 am

  22. Kareem Galaroza on September 20, 2020 at 11:37 am

So.., the mavic air should be the first drone choice at $400 but I don’t have a windy weather inside my house but I do have a lot of practice..my 1st quad was $35.. Now I have 8 quads, my last purchase was Autel evo..One thing about cheap drones..More Fun.. You can crash it many times and it’s okay..

  27. The Hillbilly Piper on September 20, 2020 at 11:42 am

Is it legal to film with a drone in a National Forest? Wanting to have myself filmed playing my bagpipes on a mountain here in Arkansas. It would make a cool video but I don’t want to break any laws. I realize I’d probably have record my bagpipe sound separately.

  28. Bonifacio bagay amascual on September 20, 2020 at 11:43 am

how i wish someone give me a drone on my birthday in april 23 2020 even it is use.and even it is cheap.,….. how i wish..

  29. Slip Stream on September 20, 2020 at 11:43 am

Can these drones be used with ardupilot?

  30. Descendant of Chinggis on September 20, 2020 at 11:43 am

A very informative presentation, covering areas omitted by many others such as flyer’s disorientation when the drone is facing toward you versus when it’s facing away from you. I have just subscribed. Please, keep up the good work. I’m a newbie and deeply appreciate your hard work and dedication. Best regards. Cheers.

    Your so Lucky😢

  32. Mel Case on September 20, 2020 at 11:45 am

One last thought, I have flown many RC airplanes in the past, and yes, to overcome the reverse image for landing was to put the image of yourself as the pilot. I put a lot of hours repairing that error. My brother and I would take 3-4 planes out just in case.

  36. inemm on September 20, 2020 at 11:50 am

This video is very unrealistic you advertise a 600+ dollar drone and a $1500 drone for beginners seems rather stupid and very unrealistic

  37. Thomas Mackay on September 20, 2020 at 11:51 am

I want to get a drone under £40 with the best possible camera quality and good in winds any suggestions

  39. DiveJumpShooter on September 20, 2020 at 11:56 am

Great video and you probably get this as a pro but too many youtube videos out there try to be zany to keep people’s attention I think most adults want information on topics like this so it is always great to see someone who knows how to disseminate information.
