  8. AJ Alvarez on February 25, 2020 at 2:38 am

Great interesting video.. anyways I’m very disappointed Dji just could’ve use this one airframe with multiple swap cameras just like the inspire 1-2 And I’ll touch it to a handheld gimbal just like the Osmo or The same Idea as a Gopro karma but better.

  9. Bunker Buster on February 25, 2020 at 2:39 am

Hey M8, Today they clip your wings sorry to hear 400 is the final number so how much are you willing to pay for the new Mavic and which one will you pick I bottom out at 1200 on the enterprise thinking slapping some Sonar on it chase Orcas

  13. Ian May on February 25, 2020 at 2:42 am

Great video as always but what we really want to know is where was the festival and can we see the final cut of the video?

  14. David Hunter on February 25, 2020 at 2:42 am

Dylan! I think you’re the man to head the constitution in the UK ! You understand what it’s all about! I believe we need some representation to guide the government into not stitching us up! We don’t need our hobby spoilt And ruined by unnecessary red tape etc etc because I believe they will. The majority of us are law abiding but they will tar us all with the same bloody brush! Keep up the good that you do! Dave from Suffolk!

  15. Daytona 6263 on February 25, 2020 at 2:43 am

I love the way Argos can not spell ‘Arctic’ white either. Awesome company. Marketing glitch of the decade!

  16. Ray Hollands on February 25, 2020 at 2:43 am

    Hi, great videos as always!

One thing that occurred to me with this mix-up is that the "Pro", or wannabe pro people are going to pick the 1inch version. DJI has now got the whole drone community jumping out of their skin over the possibility of a foldable drone with a 1 inch sencer. Makes sense, the phantoms have that level of camera, migrating it over shouldn’t be a problem.

But, there’s nothing in the Argos info that tells you about it’s capabilities. Will it have an adaptable aperture, will ND filters still required?

If no: is it a deliberate act on DJI’s part to make sure the phantom stays on top!

If yes: does this indicate the eventual end to the phantom series and saying hello to a mavic pro/phantom hybrid?

The latter would explain why there are two mavic 2’s!

  17. Andrew Small on February 25, 2020 at 2:47 am

Fun as always, you touched on marketing, a 1" sensor is great but it’s not revolutionary (Phantom) whereas the camera ability on the Anafi is and has some great cinematic potential and commercial uses, bridge inspection comes to mind so maybe they will keep that idea for their Industrial drones? The drone regulations must surely dampen sales so with that in mind, what is/was really on offer?, well not much really if you consider DJI’s stable. This release to me would only make marketing sense for DJI if they were going to drop the Phantom and possibly something else? You have to hand it to DJI they know how to wipe out the competition but that is not good for consumers both in pricing and development. These models will be more expensive, not compatible with accessories and current Mavic batteries, extra sensors? ever extending range? unusable anywhere except China. If someone wants a drone with a 1" sensor then they’d buy the Phantom, will current Mavic owners upgrade? will the recreational flyer market stagnate? I’m not sure what DJI are up to but I can’t believe the company went as far as an announcement date only to then discover a technical problem with the product maybe they realise the product might be the problem and may not fulfil customer expectation?

  18. cujoway on February 25, 2020 at 2:47 am

Will my mavic pro now refuse to go above 120 meters then?

  19. iSpike - FILMMAKER BIKER LIVE on February 25, 2020 at 2:48 am

I always like your videos Dylan. That Zoom looks cool. I guess we will have to wait & see. I will be sticking to my Current MIGHTY-Mavic Pro – Ferrari Edition for now as it does all that it fulfils all my needs with just having fun flying and all the features for filming, I do look forward to all the new reviews n stuff when these two new Mavics do go on sale. Cheers my friend from the Mother-cuntrey

  20. Mark1 Digital Media on February 25, 2020 at 2:49 am

Great informative video Dylan. Some great points raised.👍👍👍

  21. OldMan FPV on February 25, 2020 at 2:51 am

survey done.. what a croc… most of the questions are designed to give them the answers they want over a few thousand entries 🙁 if they get their way 14 and 15 year old kids will be locked up and their parents fined because they flew their christmas present without filing a notam!!!! don’t get me started on why the "model flyers" have exemptions…

  22. RMTV77 on February 25, 2020 at 2:51 am

How will we fit nd filters on the square lens of the mavic pro 2. Or it will twist off like Th e gopro lens cover.

  23. peter hughes on February 25, 2020 at 2:55 am

Hi Dylan, 1Km restriction is a little bit toooo close in my view. Using Flight Radar24 I monitored a Ryan Air flight into John Lennon Airport (Liverpool). The flight was at 400 ft 3 Km from the airport. 1 Km is a very short distance given the speed of today’s commercial planes, at 1Km the plane is seconds from landing and therefore very probably well within the 400ft limit.
Are you buying the new MP2? I think with a 1” sensor and the portability the MP2 is another, if not final nail in the Phantoms coffin….unless the P5 has something REALLY special such as a huge increase in flight time or waterproof! As always take care and catch you later. Peter.

  24. paulkazjack on February 25, 2020 at 2:55 am

Mavic 2 in the Maplin catalogue right now!!!…………………………………just kiddin’

  25. Steve Carpenter on February 25, 2020 at 2:55 am

Dylan, I think due to the cancellation of the "Big Picture", Argos already had their catalogs printed way ahead, so Argos had no way on knowing DJI special event was going to be even canceled. I agree that they will be delaying their special event further due to software problems and/or ??? We’ve also had more leaks today about a Mavic 2 Enterprising Edition, so the leaks just keep coming, why is DJI not talking?? As for DJI, it’s become a soap opera on its own, “As The Blades of Time Spin, SO Are The Days of DJI”, LOL! I agree, let’s just get on with it, enough is enough OR maybe they are indeed having a lot more problems than we know about and this is why all these leaks are coming out, will never really know? Thanks for the updates Mate!

  26. Mike on February 25, 2020 at 2:57 am

I agree with you totally, about the retail stores having a responsibility to educate customers a little. Stores in the US do the same thing! They sell drones off the shelf, and make no mention of there being any regulations!

I don’t say that they’re responsible for teaching new pilots a full course on drone safety and regulations, but they could at least let customers know that regulations exist, and point them to online resources to learn from! smh

As for the Spark, I think they’ll come back to it…maybe with a slightly lighter Spark II, that would come in well below any current restriction category.

  27. thewuf on February 25, 2020 at 2:57 am

    Mmmmmmmm Goodies…..

  28. STEVEZISSOU2007 on February 25, 2020 at 2:58 am

Definitely agree with a list of the regulations in store but I think they also need to start getting people to register when they purchase with some form of ID! Might deter the idiots from buying!? Might not make any difference to policing misuse but some form of data base needs to start happening and at point of sale seems the best option to me?

  29. Joseph Hunt on February 25, 2020 at 2:59 am

My favourite drone youtube channel, sorted.

  30. Koelkop on February 25, 2020 at 3:00 am

Does the current Mavic pro not also stream 1080p to your phone?? It says so in the specs and you can set 720p or 1080p in the dji goggles.

  31. Peter Black on February 25, 2020 at 3:03 am

Jessop include a leaflet about the drone code – even when you order online they inform you that you will get one 👍🏼

  32. Kenneth Rosenstroem on February 25, 2020 at 3:05 am

Hazzelblad is now a Chinese company without merit since 2 years, how is that exciting?

  33. Steve Edwards on February 25, 2020 at 3:09 am

Quite easy I DO NOT CONSENT to your new regulations what do they do when told that lol

  34. Ken Ingram on February 25, 2020 at 3:11 am

Any other brand of Drones in their catalog ? Altel Evo ?

  35. John s on February 25, 2020 at 3:11 am

I love DJI drones but they need to work on there customer service it’s the worst

  36. Dave Jones on February 25, 2020 at 3:13 am

#Mail I consider myself to be a well informed Hobby flyer, do you think that the way legislation is moving forward that the difference between a pfco holder and a hobby flyer is going to become much the same thing in terms of required knowledge and capabilities to be able to fly ?

  37. The exploring photographer - Jacques le Roux on February 25, 2020 at 3:15 am

06:00 Now if someone made a carbon fibre DJI Spark chassis we should get easily under the 250g mark. Hmmmmm

  38. B Valdes on February 25, 2020 at 3:20 am

    Great stuff!!, 👍👍

  39. Clinton King on February 25, 2020 at 3:21 am

  41. AR 23 on February 25, 2020 at 3:24 am

Man it look like they the catalogs are flying off the shelves

  42. Dennis Lovelady on February 25, 2020 at 3:25 am

Good job, Dylan, of course. I happen to believe Argos’ release of that catalog was probably no surprise to DJI, just part of some mastermind plan. But that’s just the curmudgeon in me coming out for a little playtime. 😊

It is interesting to watch as things unfold, though, isn’t it?

  43. DeltaMike on February 25, 2020 at 3:28 am

Arrrrrrrrrrgh. All these rules and regs is doing my nurdle but ’tis sorted :-
I am going to build it and strap a Black 5 to it.

  44. Sean C. on February 25, 2020 at 3:29 am

The Mavic Pro actually already has 1080p image transmission. You can set the Quality to HD in the settings for live transmission image quality, however it will go back to 720p if you try to do it while recording 4k video to SD card. I think the Image Signal Processor can’t handle both at once at those higher resolutions. Pheww…it is there though. 🙂

  45. AR 23 on February 25, 2020 at 3:29 am

drill some holes in the sparks arms shred some weight

  46. Bazza on February 25, 2020 at 3:30 am

The Mavic 2 will launch 22nd August.

The zoom will cost £1400 and the Pro £1799. How do I know? Was chatting to the cleaner at my local Argos but he did ask me to keep it to myself. Was never good at secrets.

  47. SkyPilot on February 25, 2020 at 3:30 am

IN Australia it is a radius of 5kms

  48. Ray Keogh on February 25, 2020 at 3:31 am

You did not say if Argos said coming soon or gave price ??????

  49. Phantom and the Drone on February 25, 2020 at 3:33 am

Dylan, it’s even made the BBC news app now….with an explanation from both sides, but I prefer yours! 😂
