Anduril: The Startup Building Surveillance Systems & Drone-Smashers For The Military | NBC News Now

Palmer Luckeyโ€™s defense technology startup, Anduril Industries, is developing products he says the United States needs as a matter of national security. Anduril has already built surveillance systems for military and defense agencies and is now adding a drone-destroying capability to its product line. The company recently secured a contract to deploy its interceptor system in conflict zones overseas. But all of this makes Anduril, and Luckey, highly unusual in the tech industry, which has seen workers openly rebel against any work that would give surveillance capabilities to law enforcement or the military.

Would you like to live under Chinese rule? If you do keep protesting about privacy and stopping these technonlogies from developing. Sometimes it feels like these anti this and that people actually want the hard line countries to take over and rule us all. This tech is actually proctecting our ultemate freedom.

  12. James Rodrigo Nash on May 17, 2021 at 3:00 am

Democrats are the most naive most self destructive people I have ever seen in my life. China is literally building a military that is the double of ours and theyโ€™re going to get aggressive soon. Wake your idiotic prey brains up.

  13. 1973Washu on May 17, 2021 at 3:00 am

It is a very short step from surveillance drones to hunter-killer drones with mounted weaponry.

Man, this dude is living a fantasy life if he thinks a vast majority of Americans even have an opinion on the military, much less outright respect for it. Even Trump didn’t do anything for the military besides a routine pay raise. Nobody actually cares about you until they need you.

  23. Spencer Cartmen on May 17, 2021 at 3:11 am

Palmer Luckey is a walking Disney stereotype. I lick like Disney, yum yum yum.

The reporter sells the s*** so well he deserves to get paid by that company. When a drawing turn into each other and he’s like oh you think there’s people flying inside of those he’s all concerned makes it seem way more intense and it was

  31. Eric Norgren on May 17, 2021 at 3:15 am

How ’bout a real drone that converts the elements of the atmosphere directly into a fuel source, Cold fusion slows the atoms down making it easier for fusion ignition of the fuel sources of atoms (separators, collectors, storage, fuel feeds and mixture ratio) which basically provides an unlimited fuel source; oscillating a balance in the magnetic pressure reaction between cold and hot fusion like a combustion engine it is also capable of "manned" space flight converting the available photonic elements of solar radiation, with other superconductive technological specifications. That this drone also has network mapping and tracking capabilities throughout the RF spectrum including assessing, identifying and overriding manufacturer’s drone ctrl codes, which can saturate the RF spectrum bandwidth occupied by these drone networks, with the drone control codes. Btw, it’s a hint of the photonic "elements" capabilities in space and earth’s atmosphere that can also identify multiple drones or types. Inertia and gravity? good luck with that one. Before you know it, it Zoomed back up into the stratosphere or outer space, supersonically, after it automatically calculated the multiple optical laser-multiple targeting focusing systems, and that it didn’t need to saturate or EMP the RF bandwidth. Btw the hull is also injection molded with the highest grade of carbon/metallic alloys.

  32. Aubin Dunkley on May 17, 2021 at 3:16 am

If you just iniatiate a flip it will move either to the left or right away from an attacking drone, you just gotta be quick enough to dodge. That’s gonna be fun to mess around๐Ÿคฃ

  33. Harrison Ressler on May 17, 2021 at 3:17 am

Isn’t it more concerning the potential violation for privacy and government using it on their own citizens?!

If this technology gets in the hands of a government that is corrupt or does not have individual rights it can create a 1984 like state.

  34. Skip Lee on May 17, 2021 at 3:19 am

How is this superior to….NSO……from israel ….?
