And in typical Amazon delivery fashion, the vehicles will park in your yard, regardless of having access to a driveway

On any given day, FedEx will deliver about 40,000 packages from ONE location. Can you imagine if FedEx, UPS, AND Amazon all have drones in the air? The sound of constant buzzing all day long since they likely can only deliver one package at a time… You will never hear another bird sing again you dirty plebs…

Expect FPV pilots to cripple these things as payback for the corporations taking away their airspace.

What stops a group of people from stealing those goods ? Let’s say someone skilled enough develops a way to hack those drones ?! Yeah…

  14. DD Yodaman on October 7, 2020 at 12:10 pm

They have permission to move forward but not cleared to fly yet. Lots of testing still to prove to FAA that it’s compitant enough! Within five years!Wing though is the first delivery with fedex and Walgreens on board FAA approved and running. No surprise though it has been succesful for a few years already in Australia!!

Normalising having drones flying around all the time so people won’t bat an eyelid when the facial recognition drones tracking and tracing us come about, wait and see.

What is the name of drone?

  22. Scott Givens on October 7, 2020 at 12:20 pm

So we have to fly visual line of sight (VLOS) and already Amazon gets the green light to break FAA laws and fly for miles without VLOS?

FAA allows big money to break all safety and health concerns, while the people who have actually flown longer without error are faced with possible fines or jail time.

Are we going to allow them to take away our hobby for their greed?πŸ€”

So imagine if mostly everything was done through Artificial intelligence? Amazon builds 24 hour post office where drone delivers and you can go to pick up your purchase with in an hour and all you have to do is put your finger print and code in and your package is given to you through a sliding window. πŸ€ͺ

  38. Chris N on October 7, 2020 at 12:37 pm

Hey, how about Amazon just starts holding to the 2 day delivery first? Why are my Prime items taking over 5 business days? It’s almost 6 months into Covid- Get it together!

  39. Andrias Dickson on October 7, 2020 at 12:37 pm

Yes! Because the establishment of drones in the industry will cause drones to become mainstream and people won’t realize delivery and attack drones will literally be indistinguishable

  41. Baddie Rocker on October 7, 2020 at 12:38 pm

What will keep people from shooting those things down just to be malicious? I’m sure they fly pretty high to be noticed, but I’m sure someone will manage to do it.

With all the delivery drones in the future …. Not Only Amazon … How many Mid-Airs will there be and causing injuries and damage ???

  48. Dr. Seinfeld on October 7, 2020 at 12:43 pm

Relax people. Drone delivery wont be the end all to delivery. It’s only a luxury and you’d obviously have to pay way more for a same day drone delivery. Anyways theres literally a surplus of driving jobs in America. Its not going to ruin a bunch of peoples livelihoods.

  49. blessethishe on October 7, 2020 at 12:45 pm

So all those narcissist who demands the driver to deliver to their apartment door, I wounder how you plan to get a drone to bring it to your apartment door?
