A Subtle Way To Make Drone Footage More Interesting With 3D PNG Clouds
A quick and subtle way to enhance drone footage using PNG clouds & motion tracking in After Effects.
I like effects like this that happen really quick at the beginning of a clip before you have time to fully notice them. It allows the viewer to continue to focus on the rest of the shot or the story you’re trying to convey. Hope you find it useful!
*** In the second example while using the Turbulant Displace effect, I also had values for Complexity keyframed. This isn’t necessary but will also provide some movement . I was experimenting and forgot to shut it off.
*** I apologize for the audio at times as well. I cut corners in exchange for a faster set up time and it ended up biting me in the ass. Lesson learned.
