Shawn can you use a WiFi memory card with it as downloads are sooooo slow!
Thank you so much for this informative video, I now feel more prepared for my first flight tomorrow.
Have a great week, mate. And keep publishing 👍
Nice Tipps ,thank you
Very good tips Shawn…I really enjoy flying the Parrot Anafi…I must admit the battery hibernation mode caught me out few times in the early days of flying but I got a 3 battery charger in Amazon few months back and it charges my 3 batteries very quick by either home power or in the car…I got my drone in Sept 2018 but only really started flying it in Spring this year 2019…Touch wood, I have never crashed so still on the original blades but do carry the spares…I suppose 1 more tip I would add would be to choose the appropriate Return to Home height…if you were flying near cliffs or very high trees it’s good to raise that height so the Anafi climbs high first to clear those obstacles…your tips are great too…a great little drone 😉
Another super video; just goes to show there’s no substitute for experience! Great tips!
Thnaks for the 2nd tip, I didn’t know what’s going on with the drone since it didn’t want to charge with the cable given in the package. New cable fixed it and the battery went back from the hibernation.
Thank you for these handy tips. Would this particular drone also have protection bumpers?
Great vídeo 👍
Have a nice day
Just bought mine today. Everyone choose s DJI. there are better alternatives out there and cheaper.
Hi Sean, Luis from Mexico. Great videos. Really helpfull. I have a DJI Spark, buy now I´m really enjoying my new Parrot Anafi. Super drone, and thank to your videos I can get the best of it. Parrot is not in Mexico so I have to learn from the experts !! Thank you very much, keep doing them. We amateurs in drone flying and photografy need them. Sorry about my english, have´nt practice for a long time. Best regards
Im having a problem with my zoom features how can I get more zoom I see only 1.0 to 1.3 and that’s barely any. Any tips??
Shaun, great video man…. how do you get it to come home if you lose Comms with it???
Putting your phone in airplane mode (or at least turning off wi-fi) also ensures the drone connects to the controller instead of the phone’s wi-fi, which ensures better range
HI Sean, have you ever had the Anafi start the fan but not initiate the calibration of the camera nor show the blue light To indicate the drone was ready to fly? love all the tips!
I always asked myself if the accus were ruined or sth like u say in Tip 2 🙂 haha thanks, now I know it´s not my accus
Hello Sir
Very informative video.
I have a hibernating Anafi battery. But i don’t get which type of charger you have used for recure the battery. Can you explain please
Regards
Hello Shawn, I have had the same experience with the Anafi, thanks for tips 2 and 4 … I’m looking forward to your new Instagram and Youtube posts! Greetings from Michael from Germany!
thank you so much for these tips. I just got mine and this helps so much..
Switching the phone to airplane mode significantly improves the signal between the drone and the controller.
Thanks for the tips. I just picked one up, and these are very helpful!
Thanks for your video Shawn. I was wondering if you had a video, or know of one that goes over the photography aspect of Freeflight 6 and the Anafi. Automatic seems to provide a washed out look and Im looking to take advantage of the nice Sony lens this drone has. Thank you so much!
Very helpful tips. What is finall opinion about the photography quality. Are you suggest it for professional photographers ?
Great video really appreciate not being shouted at like some others do in their vids
Thanks for these 🙂 I’m considering getting an Anafi, primarily because of the upward rotating camera and also the programmable flightplan. Currently have a Mini 2 and these are the things I really miss on that. Primary use will be creating 360 aerial panorama’s. With the Mini 2 I have to manually fill in the sky part, which is annoying and never yields excelent results. Your videos are helpful!
Good tips. I found if your in Cinematic Flight Mode you can force landing. Thermal is Fun, isn’t it.
Very useful tips. Thank you.
Hey
Sean…Appreciate the video. Have you found any way that you can balance charge the cells within the ANAFI batteries?
Adquiri un parrot anafi hace poco. Tus consejos me han ayudado mucho!. un abrazo desde Chile
I like your reviews. Maybe someone has already mentioned this: Make sure to consider where you are when you launch, and the direction and height of nearby trees, then set the RTH altitude high enough to clear those treetops. It’s easy to be having fun, then an RTH is triggered and the Anafi does exactly what you told it to do… The other thing to be careful about is backing away to get a reveal shot, only to whack into the one tree branch you did not see. Fortunately, when this happens, down below the Anafi can be usually heard beeping with its blue light blinking, and you have your phone/tablet to show you about where to look in the bushes. As long as the battery lasts.
DO NOT BUY PARROT ANAFI!!! I experienced a problem with my controller was was a fault with my controller being able to connect to my smartphone (having used it about 20 times). From reading various forums and comments (on youtube and trustpilot), this appears to be a common problem. And now Parrot won’t replace my controller. Also other interesting thing to note, there is no customer service telephone number in the UK.
The controller is constantly charging an android phone. There is nothing
I can do with it. The phone drains the battery much quicker than the
batteries of the drone last. Is it the same if you connect the iphone?
Shawn, won’t the controller connected to the battery, usb-a to usb-c, reactivate hibernating battery when controller is turned on?
Hi . thanks for your video. I’m thinking about buying Anafi today. At best buy. Do you know if Anafi has GPS?
My anafi is not playing?is how’s horizontal camera error?how I solve the problem
Thanks very informative !
Very useful tips. Regarding the app, I would say it’s useful to set your RTH time to 1 or 2 secs and activate the zebras for overexposure 🙂 Also, reading the manual is very useful as it contains most of the points.
Great vid New subscriber from Newcastle here 👍👍👍
ALWAYS GOOD MAN!
You’ve also got to ensure your phone cable is a data cable and not just a charging cable
cheers mate, very helpful tips for us, the first drone owners
