Glad to see Canadian officials are keeping you safe up there. 🤣

  3. EveningStarNM on April 24, 2022 at 6:02 pm

So, basically, Canadians have decided what responsible and safe piloting is, and pilots will have to abide by the rules. Crybabies won’t help the sport.

Glad I don’t live in Canada. Not a free country. U.S. is unfortunately lead by morons also and we’re not far behind.

  15. Kevin George on April 24, 2022 at 6:20 pm

This video is all flash and no substance. Five minutes in before you get the first bit of information. Prior to that it’s generic b-roll and this dude acting like an absolute douchebag.

  16. marko on April 24, 2022 at 6:21 pm

as a pilot. I am amazed that it is allowed in some controlled airspace. these should NEVER be allowed in any controlled airspace !!!!.

  17. Jeffrey Stone on April 24, 2022 at 6:22 pm

It’s not that complex in Russia and China. There, at least from what I have been told and seen, you can just go fly a drone anywhere without any permits as long as it’s not in restricted zone… E.e., a nuclear plant, military base, etc.

  18. Dave Martindale on April 24, 2022 at 6:22 pm

You should include a link to Gabriel’s YouTube channel in the video info, for people interested in following him.

  24. Rhonda Fergerson on April 24, 2022 at 6:27 pm

In the US If you go to the website that covers why you need to be certified you will find all of the facts pertaining to why people need to be educated before flying a drone. The one that stood out to me was that some drones have batteries that can cause a fire if the drone experiences a pretty bad crash. If one we’re to crash into a roof it (in theory) could cause significant property damage or injury.

  25. David Alder on April 24, 2022 at 6:32 pm

Here in New Zealand we have some similar rules and licensing, but you can still fly in quite a few places without a licence if certain rules are followed.

You know what …I’m not flying anywhere around an airport, I’m in the woods…..200 km from anywhere.
It’s the Gov’t (AGAIN)trying to tell us how to have fun, The F.A.A. or NAV Canada..whatever side your on c’mon guy’s, are you the same dummies making up the gun rules too…when you have no idea what you’re talking about. Pretty soon you’ll want a licence for my 5 yr old son’s bike .Why don’t you just say " No flying drones within 30 miles of an airport…Done….

  50. Southland Recordings on April 24, 2022 at 7:00 pm

Great video,. I’m going to get my licence soon EU rules drone, I am curious about what to expect.. I know every drone with camera has to be registered. Pilots need to pass an online exam.. etc. 🙂
