It’s sounds like they want you to get a FAA part 107.

  2. dan yeoman on March 1, 2021 at 11:45 pm

Seems so silly. How many lives have been lost or hurt flying drones? Why not spend time on highway deaths or gun shootings or drug use? As long as you stay away from airports or don’t fly too high, you should be able to fly anywhere you want,,,,,,,,,,,,,I was thinking about buying a drone, but the rules are a deal breaker for me,,,,,,,,,It’s just legal extortion the fines,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  3. Jess Shanahan on March 1, 2021 at 11:46 pm

I’m in the UK, these rules absolutely don’t apply to me and yet I’m watching this video because the production value is *chef’s kiss*

  4. ben yosep on March 1, 2021 at 11:48 pm

Music 🎶 sucks. Video could have been under two minutes.

  5. Mr. X on March 1, 2021 at 11:49 pm

Fook him, he looks like a fookin cop, don’t be a cop.

  6. HighlyMedicated 420 on March 1, 2021 at 11:49 pm

Dgi mavic mini 2 is good for that

  7. Daniel L on March 1, 2021 at 11:50 pm

We have “card” in Australia of rules. Stay bellow 400f. Don’t fly at night. Don’t fly over an event or emergency situation. Stay in visual contact. Done ✅ . Chase all the kangaroos you like.

  8. EmBEARased Bear on March 1, 2021 at 11:52 pm

    Over threw your goverment

  9. Art Vitale on March 1, 2021 at 11:53 pm

i did not buy a drone and after seeing this i will not till i move to the states.

  10. bwcritch on March 1, 2021 at 11:56 pm

Good to see that the US is not the only country who’s gone off its rocker when it comes to these types of regulations. Still angering how restrictive flying as a hobby become.

  11. Seans Tours on March 1, 2021 at 11:56 pm

    Where was this video taken?

  12. A.J.G Entertainment on March 1, 2021 at 11:57 pm

If you come to Sydney/ Australia hit me up, Ive got my drone licence yew🤙🏽

  13. Jesse Amaya on March 1, 2021 at 11:58 pm

The sad part is the idiots are still going to idiot while the ones who used to fly responsibly are for the most part are just going to hang it up. I’m studying for my 107 cert now, stubborn that way🤨.

  14. Darsan Ramasamy on March 1, 2021 at 11:58 pm

How much we need to spend for the licence?

  15. M. R. on March 1, 2021 at 11:58 pm

    I was going to buy a drone(what the f)!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. Cinema1920x1080 on March 2, 2021 at 12:01 am

Sorry to throw politics into this, but this is exactly what you’d expect from a gov that cares more about taking away rights than preserving them.

  17. zack worrell on March 2, 2021 at 12:02 am

RC planes never need this shit until drone phobia showed up

  18. Lino Andrade on March 2, 2021 at 12:05 am

    Is this for f@cking real??….WTF!..

  19. Bryan Sales on March 2, 2021 at 12:06 am

Unless your good gov’t is deliberately finding ways to discourage people from flying drones.

  20. Tim Wolfe on March 2, 2021 at 12:07 am

Going to fpv rc cars !!!

  21. On Sight on March 2, 2021 at 12:09 am

You can thank all those who hovered right next to people trying to climb serious routes , over people’s gardens , oh and kids ffs !!! and just generally annoying others !

  22. Mutant The Great on March 2, 2021 at 12:10 am

    Soon, nothing will be allowed.

  23. OSD on March 2, 2021 at 12:10 am

    if Dwight had a drone.

  24. Justin Darnell FPV on March 2, 2021 at 12:11 am

This is nuts!! I did hear the guy mention 255gram rule. Here in the states it’s below 250 grams and recreational use means you have very few restrictions on your uav. Is it the same in Canada? The smaller drones aren’t quite as good as the big boys, but there are some that are really fun to fly like holybro kopis mini and the iflight dc3. Both u can keep under 250 grams

  25. Sig Level One on March 2, 2021 at 12:12 am

This is an old video, but is the DJI Mavick 2 light enough to circumvent the laws like I saw on a UK video? I’m in the States, so will probably fly anyway . . . when I can afford a drone over my healthcare costs! lol

  26. Robert D on March 2, 2021 at 12:12 am

Lol! How did I know it was canada! Gotta love the socialist utopia of the north.

  27. Daniel Villarreal on March 2, 2021 at 12:13 am

just become a pilot at that point

  28. Latticewood Spobiance on March 2, 2021 at 12:14 am

It would be easier for the government to outlaw drone flying altogether than to try to implement all these impossibly complicated rules…

  29. Peter McKinnon on March 2, 2021 at 12:15 am

Would YOU get a license? Or nah….

  30. David Francia on March 2, 2021 at 12:19 am

This is happening here in the USA as well…

  31. Dushyant Siyag on March 2, 2021 at 12:19 am

    Same laws even in india🇮🇳

  32. BirminghamBlueHeat on March 2, 2021 at 12:20 am

    That’s the beauty of capitalism.

  33. Anoop A on March 2, 2021 at 12:21 am

Just realised that it is the same in India

  34. Sadra Tabesh on March 2, 2021 at 12:22 am

    It’s worse in turkey 🇹🇷

  35. Willy Poundertoosh on March 2, 2021 at 12:22 am

    Pay it with prommisory note!

  36. GreaterThanPie on March 2, 2021 at 12:23 am

As odd as it sounds I kinda have a head start when it comes to the new drone laws as I already passed my privet piolet exam in the states. When you where both talking about the prep to fly I actually was thinking wait you did not need all that before.

  37. TARU JEENE on March 2, 2021 at 12:23 am

does this apply for drones less than 249 gms like mavic mini 2

  38. Paul Smith on March 2, 2021 at 12:24 am

And I thought the uk was bad thats my relocation to Canada off

  39. J. Myers on March 2, 2021 at 12:25 am

You can vape, smoke weed, drink energy drinks equal to 5 cups of coffee, vote in radicals who’ll take away your rights….fly a drone for cool video and photography, no sir.

  40. ashlynm27 on March 2, 2021 at 12:27 am

This is basically just like getting your Part 107 in the US.

  41. Mr. X on March 2, 2021 at 12:30 am

who da fook does this p’?

  42. RK Matt on March 2, 2021 at 12:31 am

Wow. It sucks to have a government like Canada

  43. shape shifter on March 2, 2021 at 12:31 am

    just stay under 250 grams

  44. Shawn Lavigne on March 2, 2021 at 12:34 am

Probably not a popular opinion here, but I’m ok with these restrictions. I’ll start with a mini 2, and stay under 255 grams unless I see some good reason to get licenced. Although as the tech improves, they’ll probably keep lowering the weight restrictions.

  45. VIPavel on March 2, 2021 at 12:34 am

Its becoming really crazy with all this drone regulations. Why they don’t just make it impossible for drone to launch in restricted areas – that’s will be more easier. Like with a cars if you got maximum speed limit on a road and a car got an electronic acceleration why not to limit it to the maximum on this road.(

  46. Sizzler B on March 2, 2021 at 12:34 am

    Fake news

  47. OSD on March 2, 2021 at 12:36 am

This is some rich elitist gatekeeping. Seriously annoyed by these laws and they don’t even affect me.

  48. Mark Brown on March 2, 2021 at 12:38 am

Not surprised, coming from the country that tried to force you to refer to people by their requested gender, by threat of legal prosecution!

  49. Bigottervalleyflintworks on March 2, 2021 at 12:40 am

    canada fuckin shit for everything

  50. siar t on March 2, 2021 at 12:42 am

I guess Canada wants you to buy weed from them and get high instead of flying a drone
