Check out this cool new drone I found that is meant for indoors to autonomously create virtual tours:

Thank you for the helpful video! Learned about birds too 😉

  8. Clifford Williams on August 17, 2021 at 10:10 pm

This is like Zoolander and Blue Steel – they’re all the same! Its just a drone shooting a video of a house!!!!

  9. Rumi Hayes on August 17, 2021 at 10:10 pm

Is this 1080p video or 720p. I don’t think it is 4K though. Right? The names are cool. I don’t live in New Zealand so those are new birds to me.

  10. SeRSeC on August 17, 2021 at 10:13 pm

    Great video

  11. Mike .R. on August 17, 2021 at 10:13 pm

These are nice, basic shots. What’s funny is I can get very "SIMILAR" (keyword here, because I know I’m about to get pounced) shots like these for a LOT LESS with my Mavic MINI, believe it or not! Now of course, with your property shoots, you’re probably charging upwards of $1000. I’ve done some cool shots for clients for less expensive properties in the $1-200 range, including post-ography-editing. What is your drone theyya and how many kiwis that run~ya?!

  12. Rich Gran on August 17, 2021 at 10:13 pm

    Great job, thank you.

I like them all and I agree, the Kakahe can be the most difficult especially while changing elevation and adding camera tilt.

I just realized that I have a question for you. Let’s say you are doing a Tui. I have a tendency to maneuver from one Move to another in the same shot, I keep rolling. Is it better to complete one move before starting another to ease editing? I may have answered my own question, but it seems that if I complete one move before starting another, it would help me to plan each shot. Which raises another question… Can you offer some advice on planning your shoots.

    Nice video

  14. jmitteco on August 17, 2021 at 10:16 pm

Decent info. Guessing the the people in New Zealand will appreciate the bird names. Personally, I like the professional terms that already exist.

  15. AC on August 17, 2021 at 10:18 pm

I can imagine you’ve improved a bunch…..the majority of your shots are easily repeatable. Try after try after try. How much fun!!!! I saw one wakeboarding shot that was impressive. I imagine it was one of hundreds….anyhow. Just read an article you wrote. Wanted to see how good you were.

  16. Rob Graham on August 17, 2021 at 10:18 pm

  17. Harjeet Singh on August 17, 2021 at 10:20 pm

Amazing shots and great locations. Can you please mention the location names.?

  18. Brian Jonick on August 17, 2021 at 10:20 pm

Not sure if those bird names will catch on but this is a great video. Beautiful houses too. Thanks.

  19. Gregments on August 17, 2021 at 10:21 pm

As a biologist I was pleasantly surprised by the names you gave your shots when I came just for the info. I will 10/10 call a shot a "kakapo" – for conservation awareness and because it sounds cool!

  20. Six Wings on August 17, 2021 at 10:24 pm

I call them "The forward reveal", the "Slide and Pan", the "Tight Slide", the "Crane up Reveal" and the "Track away". It’s crazy, I know, but unexpected bonus is that you don’t have to memorize what they do because you can tell what it is by the name!

  21. Nicko on August 17, 2021 at 10:25 pm

not all of these shots are possible especially if space is limited, all of the properties that you show are situated on lots of land, cannot achieve the same type of shots if the property has small front and back yards!

  22. Ken Doughty on August 17, 2021 at 10:26 pm

Great video Grant. Simple and to the point as always. Look forward to practicing these this week. NZ is a beautiful place. very envious mate 🙂

    The bird names are dumb.

  47. Mike .R. on August 17, 2021 at 10:58 pm

One more funny; Your renaming the names of the shots reminds me of that video on "How to Dance like a White Guy" and the funny names that creator came up with! LOL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2HiuCaaQhxg

  48. Matt Rigione on August 17, 2021 at 10:59 pm

I’ve probably watched this video 5 times now…. informative, straightforward, and simple but damn those names are hard to remember
