I hope these will work on the zoom you didnt say anything about it. Very nice products going to get a few. Have a nice xmas Rick
Great video Rick that sun shade would block the 180 camera function
Hey Rick, I’ve been waiting to see if you’re going to have filters for the Mavic 2 Pro. Any idea if you expect to be selling some?
AWESOME Rick Nice products
Cheers Mate !
Everything looks good except for the props. I’ll say I’ll pass on the props Rick. Great video!
Seems like the sun shield would add drag. Is that the case?
Rick, good show! Great enhancements. Any ideas for similar add ons for the EVO?
Need the gimbal lock and great video thanks rick!!!!
That sunshield looks usable! Always intresting to see what accessories you might need. Glad that most of the MP accessories…fit the M2P aswell. Merry Christmas and thumbs up from Sweden
The only concern I have is the aftermarket props… How much time have you put on them and who makes them? I actually purchased some red ones, flew with them a few times but hung them up because I was too nervous they might fail! Confidence is key when flying one of these drones. I’d hate to lose a $1500 drone over a $10 prop! BTW why don’t you use them all the time?
BTW your Drone Valley link isn’t clickable…
Nice products Rick, thanks for this!
open gimbal lock is a good suggestion, third party props are never as good as original, sun shield will definitely affect the flight dynamics against head wind, the stabilizer is useless, better put your money on a good mavic 2 backpack
Rick: As always, excellent video but I wanted to mention that I picked up the bundle from F/Stop and within a week, both of the front tabs on the one-piece gimbal guard broke off (and like you, I’m obsessive about being careful with such things.) Fixed the issue with a plastic welder but I wish the original was a good bit more stout.
Rick…awesome video. Really appreciate the time you take to test and assess the value of drone accessories! Makes my job easier when deciding on additions to my kit. Keep up the great work!
I tried finding those accessories for the Mavic 2 Pro that you just showed on your website but I couldn’t find them?? Can you please tell me where they are on your stores website. I can’t buy them if I can’t find them! 🤔 I found them and ordered them so never mind! Thanks again.
Thanks Rick great tips
Some useful stuff……..if only I had a Mavic 2!
I am sure CF blades are much more stable! But my problem with them is that where the stock blades will flex and take most of the force and soak it up because of that flex. At the same time CF are much more rigid and definitely will transfer all of that to the motor propeller mounts and shaft.Same with the crashing with CF blades.I am sure that there will be much more damage to the drone then if you would crash with stock blades which will give much easier. But that is just my opinion but I think it is worth considering these facts before purchasing CF blades. And good advice is not to fly in high wind conditions.Which I sometimes doo my self but had zero issues with stock blades.
Hi Rick love your clips you are so good. Watched your spin up clip really liked it. Have a great Christmas hope it is not too cold there for you. I’m in Tasmania Australia so summer time now perfect drone flying weather. Will have some weeks off from work so planning on getting in lots of flight hours 🤗
That gimbal guard looks great along with the sun shield. I just ordered both.
Those prop guards really keep the Mavic 2 Zoom tightly fit while in my Pelican
type flight case.
Thanks for giving up the heads-up on these products.
I am glad I went flying yesterday. Today the fog was so bad in the Houston area you couldn’t see two houses down the street and it lasted past 10:00AM.
Hi, I like these products 👍🏻 I have a quick question, I have a Mavric 2 Pro and use my drone when fishing, I like to use for high and low view of the water, I would like to know what is the best filter to buy that would act like a polarised glasses where you can see into the water, kind regards, Dave from the United Kingdom 🇬🇧
That gimbal protector is the one DJI SHOULD have included with the drone. The globe is not bad, but that one looks like a much simpler design and easy to use.
Oh my word! I am disappointed, Rick. At :53, and at 1:03, my ears bled as you said, “…ACROSST it.” Really!? An engineer? THERE IS NO “t” in across! I am unsubscribing right now! ….. Okay, maybe after I win the giveaway ….THEN I’m unsubscribing! …… or maybe after your next insightful clip ….THEN I’m DEFINITELY unsubscribing! Okay, FINE, I’ll stay! But DON’T say “acrosst” ever again, please. America thanks you.
Seasons Greetings, do these items also fit the Mavic Pro?
Awesome video Rick, being a left arm amputee I definitely have issues with the gimble globe so I’m definitely ordering the one piece cover and the sun shield is a great stocking stuffer for myself. I’ve been using the prop holders for about three months and can’t imagine not using them. Especially as you said about the pressure on the motor shaft or windings plus a good amount of torque on the arms. Definitely appreciate all you do to make my flying experience better and marry Christmas.
thanks Rick, I also find a elastic band holds my props well,l have a postman who seems to drop bands outside my home when he delivers the post
Put a single rubber band around the drone to hold the propellers. Those propeller guards a a bit of a pain in the butt to put on.
Great products for you Mavic guys.
Rick, Thank you! Another very nice video highlighting new accessories for the Mavic 2, nicely done!
Merry CHRISTmas, Mr. Rick.
I love the way you do a thorough analysis of products that you recommend.
I’ll be ordering some of these new accessories soon.
Rick, have you ever tried using the 12V Adapter by itself on your DroneMax 360 Battery? Mine was defective. The battery shuts off automatically while charging. I’d try yours too, if I were you. I’m sure it’s prob an engineering issue where the battery is not discharging fast enough, so the battery thinks it’s been left on by mistake and shuts off. Try plugging a radar detector or DashCam, anything 12V by itself and let me know what happens. Mine would shut off after about 45 seconds. Mine is back at the manufacture getting fixed. Thanks again, and let me know your feedback! Lou
please send me something to test i miss flying just crshed my phantom 3 ARGtek antennas . send me drone pleaseplease.
Why not leave the carbon blades on?
You are AWESOME Rick mate. I wish everyone good luck with your fantastic Christmas giveaway And a very Merry Christmas to you good sir. Cheers
Hi Rick, out of curiosity can you explain why you only use the carbon fiber props when it’s windy outside? I figure that if they as good as you say, why not use them all the time ? Thanks.
We sure appreciate all the great information you provide to us in the drone community. I follow several of the people on YouTube who provide information on flying quads and you produce the most informative videos by far. You give intelligent, well thought through advice and information and in every video we can feel your love and excitement for the hobby.
My wife and I both have Mavic 2 Zoom quads. We enjoy getting out and flying together. She is disabled and the Precision Landing they recently added is a big help for her. We both have Phantom 3 Standard quads that we started with that got us hooked on the hobby. The Mavic 2 Zoom quads are so much easier to fly and the video and photos are awesome!
Keep up the fantastic work!
