First proper flight with the Hildagard395 after a good maiden flight! Strapped a GoPro on top this time to give you a bit footage of it. First thing need to said, that thing flies AWESOME, for a 10inch it performs so damn good, i expected some power but damn this is insane.
Only those Graupner props def. need some balancing, jello is really bad in some throttle ranges, anyway just minor improvements that have to be made like upping the P gains for Pitch and Roll , but for the first fpv flight it is still very good, also lowered intentionally the terms to prevent some issues. Arrived at the last stage – finetuning.
Overall iam so happy that my project of a 10inch worked out! Many thanks to Jack Deng for offering me those awesome motors in desired kv, also thumbs up to Airbot for these great ESC that take all that abuse with a smile! Also many thanks going out to Stefan van der Ende and Charles Hidalgo for creating such a fantastic frame and leading the fpv world into a new era 🙂 .
Glad that i could show you thats not impossible to fly a big sized prop with a pretty high (1050) KV and 6S. They kept telling me motors will gonna smoke ore amp draw will be too high because the props will not allow those high rpm’s or it will create too much draw while spinning them up too quick, or the outer mass on the arm in relation to COG is too big for making fast flips , don’t even think of a responsive yaw axis and and and…. Inverted yaw spin and some decent flip flop flying you’d see that ? 😉 😛
